Getting started
wallticker records what you actually did, not what you planned to do. Press Play in the header and the clock runs; press Stop and you have an entry. Everything else - the project, the client, the description, the tags - can be filled in later, or never.
- Press the round Play button in the header to start tracking immediately. Nothing has to be set up first.
- Fill in the details while it runs: the pencil on the running entry opens the same dialog you use for finished ones.
- Press Stop when you are done. The entry lands on today, and a strip appears offering Undo, Edit or Delete for a few seconds.
There are four ways time gets into wallticker, and they all produce the same kind of entry: the timer, the Add entry button beside Play for time you already spent, typing a duration straight into a Timesheet cell, and importing meetings from Google Calendar.
Only one timer runs at a time. Starting a new one stops the old one, so you can never double-count an hour.
The app speaks five languages; these help pages are English only.
