Settings and your data
Settings is seven pages on one rail. Changes are saved by a bar that appears when a form is dirty, and if you try to leave with something unsaved you are asked first rather than losing it.
- Profile - your name and phone number, versioned so an old export keeps the details that were true when it was made, plus the email you sign in with.
- My Companies - the legal entities you invoice as, and what a PDF export shows in its header.
- Clients - the companies you bill, the same list as the Clients section on the Projects page.
- Tracking - daily and weekly targets, public holidays, forgotten-timer reminders and auto-stop, the estimate quick chips, and how entry lists are sorted.
- Integrations - connect Google Calendar or Bokio, and set whose public holidays apply.
- Interface - which side the mobile menu opens from, and whether single-key shortcuts are on.
- Account - your plan, downloading your data, health-data consent, and deleting your account.
Two settings on the Tracking page are worth knowing about before they surprise you. The forgotten-timer prompt asks, when you next open the app, whether a timer that has run past your threshold should be stopped at a sensible time. Auto-stop is the harder backstop: it stops a runaway timer for you even with the app closed, which is why its limit has to sit at or above the prompt threshold.
Your data is yours and the controls are self-service. Download everything as a single JSON file - every entry, project, client, company, tag, setting, estimate and absence day - whenever you like, on any plan. Correct anything in place. Delete the account from the same page.
Deleting your account is reversible for 30 days. You are redirected to a page showing the deletion date, and signing in during that window lets you reactivate immediately. After the date passes, the data is gone.
The app speaks five languages; these help pages are English only.
